How do penguins stay warm?

The clever adaptations of birds that thrive in icy seas.

Some penguins, such as emperor penguins, also stand close together in large groups. This helps them stay warmer when the wind is strong.

Young penguins need extra care. Their parents help protect them and bring them food until they can do more for themselves.
